A weapon that assist benders would do nothing more than handicap, on top of that benders wouldn't bother with a weapon since their form consist of using their hands and usually entire body. As for the satobots(w/e they were called) Platinum bullets, does that really make sense to you? Money is still an issue even in some cartoons.

thedarkhavok ONLINE (09/15/2012) [-] That isn't really how it works. Polymers are just interesting hydrocarbon chains (not always, but often). If you don't draw a line somewhere earlier than at a subatomic level it all goes to shit, because water benders will gladly bend water without blatant effervescence of dissolved carbon dioxide, it just remains in solution, furthermore waterbenders can bend carbon, and so can air benders. Avatar isn't that accurate, just saiyan.
