I don't understand how fake characters on a T.V show can make you feel so much. This was just like what I went through with Pokemon. It's like you connect with them so much and the fucking writers make you fall in love with the characters.

It's a masterpiece. I rewatched them 2 weeks ago too, and I felt like I had just said goodbye to some of by best friends, when it ended.

Each character had so much personality. That's the main reason it is better than LoK imo.

I agree. I just started watching LoK, i'm on episode 6 right now, and it's just not the same. When I found out that Sokka and pretty much everyone else from the original series was dead, I kinda considered suicide for a minute or two.

I kinda wish they would just go back and continue the story with Aang, Kotara, Sokka and the rest of the group. It seriously makes me depressed that they won't be together again.

I hope we get a lot of flashbacks in the next season. A whole lot of them. They were the best part of LoK.

Consider reading the comics. They tell what happens afterwards, but they are just.. Not the same :/

Maybe if we write the creators of Avatar and tell them we planted bombs in orphanages all over the U.S and that we will destroy all of them unless they continue The Last Airbender series for at least 100 more seasons.

Which is why they should go back and continue with The Last Airbender series. They could do so much with it.

No, they couldn't. Their story was over. It was time to move on, nostalgia or not.

Noo they totally could. It ended with Aang and them defeating the Fire Lord and Zuko becoming the Fire Lord. They could create another bad guy or something.

That would be pointless, repetitive, and boring. There was nothing for Aang to learn anymore. He'd mastered all four elements, and energy bending. What would the show be about? What would they do?

It'd be 23 minutes of Team Avatar walking into a room and beating the crap out of some people every week.

Not to mention, there was no enemy after they defeated Ozai.

Just be grateful you get another Avatar show at all. LoK was originally only going to be 10 episodes long.

What if we hold them hostage and force them to continue the series.

I'm totally ok with 23 minutes of Team Avatar going around and kicking the shit out of people. As long as Sokka is there to be hilarious and sarcastic and Uncle Iroh is there to tell stories about tea.

Well, anyway, my point stands. The original show was so great because it was a story about a journey against impossible odds, while also having to learn the elements and learning what each of them means philosophically as well. If they continued it, there would be nothing left to learn, and thus, it would be lame.

Yeah I know. I just fell in love with the characters and the show, it didn't seem like it would end.

I guess all good things must come to an end :(

Honestly I wasn't too keen on LoK, don't get me wrong it was good but I felt it was too rushed. They tried to fit too much into one season, they should have kept Amon's identity secret until say a third season where Korra would have an epic battle with him. The only reason I watched it is because of Korra and Bolin (And obviously to see more flashbacks of Team Avatar)

I'm just about to finish episode 6. I just want to get to the episode with the flashback of Team Avatar.
