Here's a fun fact guys.
Actual monks in Asia developed different fighting styles in defense of their temples. They only use their knowledge for defense.

Actually, theres a difference between killing and murdering. If you are forced to defend yourself, that would be killing. If someone was helpless and weak, that would be murdering.
y'know, technically the only character to ever actually be killed during the show was that assassin guy hired by Zuko. everyone else just seems to be knocked unconscious, captured, or already dead beforehand.
Just snow. I don't think they died.
Anyway, it's not religion, it's a cultural/spiritual thing.

"The death of one is a tragedy, the death of millions is just a statistic."
I don't think snow can be that much a problem to firebenders..

Who says the died? And there's a difference between killing someone in defense in the heat of the moment and killing someone once they were defeated and had their power taken away. The former is killing, the latter is straight up murder. And it wasn't his religion, not once did he say it was because of his religion, isn't atheists that say don't kill people not to avoid hell but to simply not kill someone? Do try to make it a religious thing asshole.
No one dies on Nickelodeon.
They just sort of disappear inexplicably.
It is merely implied.
