I was trying to say, that if on the episode in Season 2 where they had to go through a secret tunnel to get to Omashu, and the backstory of Omashu was "Two lovers from rival kingdoms are in love because they're lovers" it would have been better if Sokka had met and fallen in love with Ty Lee in that episode, and then Ty Lee would join Azula, as that would better tie in with the theme of Lovers From Opposite Teams.
