well I noticed that Amon runs just like Ty Lee, and she also knew chi blocking
but the whole point of the creation of republic city was that LOK wouldn't become similar to TLA . so I am not see it happen that Korra is gonna travel the world to master the elements again.

I don think amon is powerful enough to remove the avatars bending, korras just gonna stand back up and bend again
Either that or korra finally goes into the avatar state before ant bending is taken away
Either way since Amon completely merked Tarock in his own damn house he is now one of my favourite characters

This is just a supposed mini-series with only two seasons, I hate to say that we won't see as much of the sequel to the Last Airbender as we'd hoped...

Since season 1 is 12 episodes (almost over) and season 2 is only 14 I doubt they are going to go through all the elements again. They started off with Korra already knowing the three because they already went through learning them with Aang, and it would get boring to have to watch someone else do the same thing. They never showed Aang learning airbending so they were able to do that without being repetitive.

amon says his parents were farmers in his speech to the equalist supporters. i EXTREMELY doubt that ty lee married a farmer and went to the farming lifestyle.

The obvious flaw is motive. Why would this guy want to take bending away? Technically it makes sense in terms of skills and stuff. but yeah overall weak theory but still possible.

The flaw to this idea is that the whole series is significantly shorter then the original avatar. Apparently the whole thing is 20 episodes and then it is over.

When benders energybend, can't the energy/soul of the other person overtake/ corrupt them? I could see this happening to Amon when he tries to take Korra's bending away (if he actually gets to that part of the process).
