I don't think I played after Jak 2. I heard they kinda went downhill, so I never bothered to play the rest.

Honestly, I don't think the first one is better than the others but they're definitely different games. The first one was more adventure and the others were more action. Also the first one was easy as ****, but I actually struggled with the other ones.

Is II harder than III?
When I was young, I rented Jak II and did pretty terribly. A few years later I bought Jak III and had enough time to finish it. This always made me feel like II was harder and III was toned down in difficulty, but it was probably because I wasn't as developed, nor did I have enough time to finish II.

I remember Jak 3 being larger than Jak 2 in terms of missions. It took me an average 30 minutes a mission, so the game was pretty damn long to beat. It took me almost 5 hours just to get back to Haven City, and that was literally one third of the game. The difficulty however was negligible. Beat it once, it got crazy easy. Jak and Daxter was a breeze in the park. The platforming to me was almost perfect, and the addition of weapons and an open world made the game very ahead of its time.

Yeah, I wouldn't really compare J&D and Jak II, they're very different. But they're still really good. Are the ones after 2 worth checking out?

Well Jak 3 is pretty much a better version of the 2nd one in my opinion and Jak X is, without a doubt, one of the best arcade-style racing games out there. The amount of fun I've had in Jak X with my brother holy shiet

Daxter was "Meh" in comparison to J&D and the Jack series. And I haven't played that pirate one... bottom line, Insomniac really needs to consider bringing back Jack and Daxter the way they kinda brought back Ratchet and Clank.

To be honest I don't pay much attention to the singing, the guitar solo's though, they just blow my mind.
And i'm amazed the drummer can feel her arms by the end of the set.

Whenever I hear or see "Alonne" my mind just goes to the DLC and my mind is immediately filled with rage at a particular Path of Iron... Seriously, who puts a boss like THAT at the end of a gauntlet like THAT? Even if you use the alternate route, you still get booty pillaged by what is behind that god forsaken mist wall...

Too much DS2 is when you realize you can prevent getting burned when taking something out of the oven by making your hands wet.
