MFW hearing the danish voise of Korra

I DISAGREE! there is one more exception, and that is the swedish version of Avatar: The Last Airbender! everyones voice is pretty much perfect! nothing to complain about!

although it might just be that because I'm finnish, swedish always sounds silly to me

must be that, because according to me the finnish is extremely silly to me too

from my experience, swedes don't know much finnish (besides random swears/hello, thanks etc) so its normal for you to think finnish sounds weird.

I can somewhat understand swedish because its a mandatory language in school
I still suck at swedish and I'm kinda upset that its a mandatory language here, so I tend to have a negative attitude to all things swedish

My suggestion to people getting into anime is to watch one episode in it's original language and then the next in your native language, and just see if anything strikes you either way. Usually it ends up for me whichever one has the least annoying character voice.

Like in "Utawarerumono", i stuck with english because the little sister's voice in japanese was so nasally and scratchy, it made me want to claw out ears, and in One Piece, Usopp's english dub was so bad it made me actually not listen to Zoro, and his voice actor is one of my favorites.

Then shows like la cazador de la bruja (or something like that lol) had a main character's voice in english that was just super creepy to me, whenever she talked the hairs on the back of my neck stood up, and i never really got why, but it made the show that much better.

Har lige set det... Jeg forstår ikke bare hvorfor de ikke sender den engelske version med undertekster... På den måde lærer børn også hurtigere at læse... Det var da sådan det hang sammen med mig og Simpsons
