I think she'll have some super avatar state that surpasses even Kyoshi's murderous tendencies. Kind of like a super saiyan, but the menstrual yandere kind.

I believe the arrows follow the flow of chi and the chi makes them glow. Also, It's a tv show that doesn't require full logic.

The main arrow running from the base of the spine over the forehead symbolize the flow of energy through the chakras. By mastering and unlocking all the chakras an avatar gains full control over their avatar state. As you can see, there is a direct connection between the avatar state the and main arrow. The arrows on the arms and legs represent the flow of energy out of the body in the form of bending. That one is a longer stretch but still makes sense to glow.

I mean i'm kind of biased because I like tattoos, but those ones are just perfect for it. I believe there's also a reason that has to do with the flow of chi explaining why they glow when he enters the avatar state, but regardless the way they look is perfect for the glowing.

What i wanted to say is that there is plenty of times for some awesome avatar Korra action, tho it brings thoughts to mind what the story will be about.
