If you truly thought that you're probably the kind of person who pounded your comment out from your keyboard with your fists in fury. If anyone needs to calm down or take it down a notch, it's people like you who hate and think they are more level headed than fans of a show whether it be avatar or MLP. Not all posts may be funny but most remind me of a scene or reference that makes me happy and entertained opposed to annoyed from reading your bitchfest.

Yeaahh, LoK was designed in a way that it would appeal to older people too (if you've watched it you'd notice the main characters are a few years older than the main characters of AtLAB)
In such a way that people who were 10/11 during Aangs time (around what his age was) will be 16-19 which is around Korra's age.
You may also notice that not all of the jokes in cartoon shows are directed at children either, maybe rewatch a few movies you enjoyed as a child and you'll pick up on jokes you didn't understand back then.
