In the world of the Avatar they are supposed to be like Inuits. Doesn't mean they are at the same geographical location as the "real" Inuits in the "real" world. Notice how I say "like an Inuit" instead of saying that they "are Inuits".

While I completely admire your knowledge of Inuit culture and dietary requirements, you have to keep in mind that over a year had passed by the time Katara and Aang became a couple. They had traveled all over, some of the time walking the entire distance, and were forced to alter their diets to whatever was regionally available. I'm sure diets aren't the same in the Earth Kingdom as they are in the Fire Nation and so on. She had plenty of time to lose quite a bit of weight by this point in time. ...but I agree, not a fan of how thin the artist portrayed them both, but overall the art is great.

they look taller (and far more slender) now anyway and Aangs face is far more masculine. Maybe it's a few years on...in which case I'm willing to forgive the artist.
