I am not a fan of Avatar, but you know what I do? I read'em anyway because sometimes there are jokes that I can understand and if I don't understand, I fucking skip. Imagine if there were a lot of people on FJ who didn't play Skyrim and every time there was a Skyrim-related joke, they just thumbed it down because they didn't understand it.

Maybe instead of being a dick, you can allow the large fanbase to enjoy their show. If you see a post that is obviously bad, though, feel no qualms against thumbing it down.
