Take Naruto for example, in the original, he was goofy and childish, and although there was killing(3rd Hokage, which was technically a suicide), most of the time people were beaten within and inch of their life (Gaara), but in Shippuden, Naruto has killed people, Sasuke has killed people, the entire leaf village was destroyed at one point, and people ask me why I watch these "Kid shows"
