Young? You realize that Frodo is 50 by the time he sets out with the ring, right?

You do realize that hobbits can live up to 400 years old.. 50 is mere youth - middle age. Peasant.

i have no idea where did you get that, but if i remember biblo was the oldest hobbit ever and he left the shire at the age of 111 and he left middle-earth at the age of 131.
Bilbo turned 131, and became the oldest Hobbit in Middle-earth,

Well, 50 is kinda middle-aged by Hobbit standards. It's how old Bilbo was during The Hobbit. But the ring slowed both Frodo's and Bilbo's aging. So, Frodo did remain youthful, physically speaking.

But Hobbit's age much more slowly. They live longer, generally, because of this.

They do live a tad longer, yes. But it was also partly because of the ring, which slowed his (and Bilbo's) aging. Pippin, Merry, and Sam are all over a decade younger than Frodo. Pippin, the youngest, is 22 years younger than Frodo.
In the books, it mentions the hobbits of the Shire are actually kinda suspicious of how Bilbo aged so well and lived as long as he did after returning from his adventures. Likewise, they're kinda suspicious of Frodo for staying so youthful. They see the Baggins are sorta strange.

I know they were suspicious, too. I did read the books as well.
But still, they do age more slowly.
