Something I would like to know: In the failed movie attempt of The Last Airbender, firebenders could only bend when fire was present and they freaked when Hiro(I think it's spelled right) bended without fire present. I may be wrong but in the show, they could shoot fire from their hands directly, no source of fire around them. Am I just not remembering right or did they change that when it came to the movie?
Here is my theory over bending. you can not create the element you can only manipulate it with water, earth and air style there element is always present for fire I believe they increase the rate of friction they make with there body so it makes fire
