There isn't a series about it, but there are comic books... Like "The Promise"... And there is a sequel to that coming out, which is supposed to reveal what happened to Zuko's mother. But Korra is about the avatar that came after Aang, and this time she is fighting against the Equalist, aka people who want to get rid of bending.
