My theory is that the ultimate airbending technique has to do with pressure waves. With enough concentration they could send 'pulses' through the air, creating sound, basically a bass bender. The faster it is the higher frequency it becomes, end result being the creation of a sound which could pulverize the internal organs of their enemies.

But Air Benders are meant to be peaceful. Would they really be willing to destroy an enemies organs from the inside?

True but keep in mind monks train to protect themselves and others. It makes sense to me that they may have a secret technique to be used only in the utmost peril or at risk of extinction, picture related
