The shows themselves were only made in 480p, if you're watching or getting a "720p" version it's definitely upscaled.

I dont really know which is better, but the upscale version seems a tiny bit better.

Hmm... They look a little bit cleaner, but sometimes you're missing out on details (even stuff as benign as the outlines of eyes). Or sometimes you're missing out on more vibrant colours
