A theory on Amon's abilities (WIP)

How about this, I tell you my theory and why yours is wrong. Unique people advance bending. Nobody can just start moving and do it. Unique people were taught to bend and that is roughly the beginning (I said roughly for a reason). If it's what you say it is (the placebo effect of non-bending) then Lin will be able to just say "Hey, why the fuck don't I just try really hard and see what happens." and magically get her power through will and determination. No. (See comment #2). There is no perfect fairy tale ending, there is the ending that they will give us, which will be with the good, the bad and the ugly, because it creates all those fuzzy feelings inside. The feelings we felt watching The Last Airbender. They want you to cry, and laugh, and all that shit because it makes for great TV. Sit down. Shut up. There is no "Disney" ending where everyone gets what they want and the bad guy is defeated. No. Amon is disabling their powers for good.

As for my personal opinion -
I want Amon to win. I want him to take away Korra's bending. I want his plans to succeed. Why? It is because he is very clever, and very smart. He plans 10 steps ahead with back up plans for each step. Korra, in my opinion, is an arrogant bender which is why she hasn't yet learned Air Bending nor learned to communicate with her spiritual side. Amon - Doing it right // Korra - Very lucky

My reasoning why Korra's arrogance is blocking her ability to learn Air Bending and Spirit. Is this. Aang when learning Earth Bending didn't go head on, thus he had a very difficult time. Korra goes at everything head on, thus she picked up on 2 of the most aggresive bending techniques, while the third she was born with. Air Bending ( the most Spiritual of the 4) is going to take a long time for her to master due to her personality and as such her Spiritual side will take the same amount if not more.

That's it, poke holes, I want to see flaws in my logic so that my theory will can grow to the correct one
