If you count Kentucky, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania or Virginia you technically have to count Puerto Rico and the Mariana Islands cos they're all commonwealths. But that's just being pedantic, everyone knows there are 50 states even if technically only 46 are states.

I was speaking on technical terms. Something to do with how they signed, were formed or whatever meant they were actually commonwealths and not states, but I said in my comment that "that was just being pedantic, everyone knows there are 50 states"

even if they are all common wealth's Massachusetts is the most important state in American history followed by Pennsylvania while Puerto Pico and the Mariana Islands can't vote for for president's or even use the US's government so its hard to put them in the same category
