Nope he sucks at it because in the episode Dunces And Dragons Squidwards ancestor Squidly could not play it right so he cursed his 7th or 8th grandson not sure which one but either way it ended up being Squidward.

Well his ancestor obviously sucked because he had no fingers also.

But it's a mood thing with him, too, I've noticed. If he's in a really good mood, he plays quite well. And there was that episode where he was in the town full of other squids, with the clarinet trio. Same issue as Squidward, and they were playing just fine.

What are your thoughts on the newer episodes, if you've seen them? I think they completely ruined Spongebob. The characters act a lot differently than they used to. Different in a bad way.

Agreed completely. There is a very fine line between classic Spongebob, a brief in-between stint, and the new garbage.

But I don't think they "ruined" Spongebob in anyway; they simply can't match the originality they once had.
