Astronomical bodies are spherical, and you cannot see the entire exterior surface from anyplace. Often comparison of Old testament to New testament and a complete disregard for lexical meaning and poetic uses of the Hebrew language.
that is a valid point, but if i my say, if god was all mighty, why Hebrew. what i mean is, why not all languages, past and present, so we can have a perfect translation. in my opinion its just foolish of him/it/she to not do that.
context. you have no context. over half the bible is a history, you can't just take out passages without the context.
fine, put them in the right context. context that makes it not contradict its self. please, go on
1. What is the contradiction here? Are you saying that a God cannot have two different traits? He is good to all that follow Him, but in Jeremiah, the people of Judah had been sinning and disregarding God for generations, causing Him to send His prophets to give them a warning to repent or he will "not pity, nor spare", etc. etc.
more on the way.
but those two traits counter act each other, you can't be the lord of peace and war
thank you for taking the time to show me the folly of my way.
