I just don't understand how churches can ignore the fact that evolution actually occurred, if you're bored look it up on youtube, it's quite funny to try to see them attempt to debate a fact and claim it doesn't exist.

Extremists do, most believe in the thoery of evolution, if i'm not mistaken even the pope has claimed his belief in it publically.

That would be because the main denominations haven't ignored it. Catholicism accepted evolution about 60 years ago.
