It's none of those. I'm not PRETENDING to be a good person based on what others think, nor am I lying to myself. I care too much about everything to do anything bad, and when I do I feel guilty, and because I feel - here it is again - like a worthless asshole, like I'M the problem.
And it's shit like this that makes me stop caring. You shouldn't have to explain how to be a good person, it should be a natural instinct by now.

Not self hatred, self restraint. it's about not submitting to the cheap indulgences of this life and enjoying what it truly fulfilling.
Almost everything you mentioned was not a sin against someone else so why would you feel guilty? Those were sins against your own body and they hurt you. However nowhere does the bible say women should be in the kitchen nor is it against drinking or even masturbation and the lusting only applies to after you're married.
Also I'm not so sure it's ok to say God didn't put that feeling in you. It's good that you hold yourself back in that regard, but once again, why do you hold yourself back?

And I agree, there is a innate feeling of justice, but what makes that feeling worth following of anymore reason than it is apparently hard wired into us? All you're doing if you avoid that feeling is not touching the electric fence because it shocks you. So if it weren't there would you simply do those things you feel are bad?

I don't think you understand what my point is. It's not ONE SINGLE THING that makes me not do something. It's guilt, it's that terrible feeling when you see what you've done, it's the fact that you KNOW it's wrong and that you can't deny it, it's about being disappointed in yourself knowing you're capable of doing it. It's the fact that it's blatantly obvious that they are wrong. How do I know they're wrong? They just fucking are. I shouldn't have to explain why I think murdering cats for my own amusement is a bad thing.
If I was capable of doing bad things, then I wouldn't be myself any more. I don't do them, because I'm me. If I did do them, I couldn't look at myself and think that I'm the same person that I was before I did it. People are capable of doing these things because they're STUPID. That's all it comes down to, they're not intelligent enough for self-reflection on what they're doing.
So tell me - why don't YOU do bad things, then? I listed my reasons, give me yours. I don't run around slaughtering innocent people, so why don't you?

now to answer your last question.
I do what the Bible says is right because that is what the one who created me told me to do. There are two kinds of wrong, those that hurt others and those that hurt yourself. I am just a humble creation that has been given the ability to choose and the intelligence to see that I can choose. He tells me to just love all the other things that look similar to me and seem to have my intelligence and to love him for creating me for the short time he leaves me here. I was created to search for what is right and then follow it. I have found that the code to follow is the bible. it simply makes the most sense and without God then life is pointless. You seem to understand we have a purpose and something we are moving towards but you don't seem to see what. I'm telling you this is what that is. And that feeling you feel, the good and the bad? I feel it too and this book and following it ignites the most good feeling in me and every time i don't follow what i should have I know it too. There is something inherent in us, and if you let it it will lead you to the bible. The bible fits that slot like nothing else.

And insults aside, it seems to me that you are the one who isn't seeing that it's not the book that is alluring, it's the moral logic inside. It all makes sense and gives you what right and wrong really are instead of you just having to make it up by yourself.
