I thought an atheist was someone who didnt believe in religion. I believe there may be a god, but I do not believe in religions. They are cults. seriously, has anyone ever been to a church on Easter sunday? They got this incense stuff and they swing it around in a big lantern thing and the preist is wrapped in ablanket staring at this statue and leading a dozen or so girls with flowers around in circles. and every time they pass you, you have to stand. Its crazy. and they were all reciting bible verses together and singing creepy songs in monotone....
Shit's scary yo.

What kind of church are you going to? Mine has never done anything like!

I agree with fatterthanu, that sounds really, really weird. My church just had my pastor talk like normal although it was about the importance of easter. There were a few flowers, but nothing like that. We sang a few hyms and listened to a bell choir, but nothing about chanting.

I don't know, it was in massachusettes. What does your church do for easter?

I mean its been a long time since I've gone, but it was basically just extended with added Easter stuff and extra time for people to ask for everyone's prays. But dude your church sounds pretty awesome though...

Thank you. I knew there was a word for it, and I knew I knew the word, but at the moment it had escaped me.
