Remember when religious people didn't promote the AIDS epidemic because of poor understanding of science? Remember when religious people didn't behead people for apostasy? Remember when religious people didn't stone women for being raped? Remember when religious people didn't burn other people at the stake for being "witches?"

Neither Pepperidge Farms nor I remember these things because THEY STILL HAPPEN.

When atheists use their lack of belief as an excuse to torture others, or the religious stop using their religion as an excuse to commit atrocities, then, and ONLY THEN, do you have a legitimate right to complain about atheists being "up in your face." Until then, STFU and try reading a book.
