I've said this before. But OP, I would suggest you move on to reddit or some other site of the sort when posting these things, they will be more receptive. The majority of this site for some reason has an intolerance for anti-religious content, as if it higher than scrutiny.

I don't know why, but that's how it is. You can post something regarding a joke on 9/11, and get top page. But you will get torn apart if you make fun of the people on flew the plane for being Muslim. Doesn't make any sense to me either.

I'd just not bother trying to do what you're doing, because I have already tried with these people. And I say that without conceit.

>You can post something regarding a joke on 9/11, and get top page.

9/11 jokes are merely jokes which people dont actually mean. atheist content is usually posted by butthurt atheists who find it difficult to cope with the fact that people believe differently from how they do

>But you will get torn apart if you make fun of the people on flew the plane for being Muslim.

you obviously dont browse this site during the countless number of times atheist faggotry makes its way to front page

So atheists are butthurt and can't deal with people believing differently, but you are the one coming around giving out red thumbs to people who disagree with you and posting comments that attempt to be intellectual or clever? Makes sense dude. If being frustrated with assholes and stupid people is considered being butthurt then I am butthurt as **** .

Nothing is above scrutiny friend, nothing.

i wouldnt really say intolerance is the same as scrutiny

Well good luck with playing around with the words.

Exactly it's pretty pathetic that people complain about how we question or persecute their beliefs but if you look at any anti-religious post it either has negative thumbs or all of the top comments are "quit being an asshole about your atheism". But I still like to post on this site anyway, there is always a few people who agree with the message.

as a christian, i will love and tolerate the **** out of you and bless your soul no matter how much you don't believe in them
User avatar #8 to #7 - thereoncewasaman (06/30/2013) [-]
I appreciate that you don't hate on people for not believing what you believe, but I don't want you to bless my soul; not because I want to spite you but I don't think it has any significance or effect. But my comment was more of an observation that there seems to be a disconnect between what many theists say is happening (that their beliefs are being persecuted) and what is happening (that they are persecuting others beliefs, or rather lack of belief). Of course its not everyone but it happens too much.

i am guessing you live in america

Yes I do, the religious are the majority here and they can be pretty obnoxious.

i see. in england, where my parents families emigrated to, there is a lot more tolerance, and if someone says anything it is usually sarcastic or to take the piss for a good laugh, which i very positive.
User avatar #15 to #14 - thereoncewasaman (06/30/2013) [-]
That's cool, a sense of humor is always good. My jimmies can get rustled by people here in the U.S. who try to force their religion or morality on everyone.
User avatar #16 to #15 - ghostisaho (06/30/2013) [-]
that is one problem with some americans, and i do suggest you go to canada, or england if you get the chance because places like there just don't give a ****
#40 to #16 - chudboy (07/01/2013) [-]
Well they do give a **** . You have people who do shove it down your throats. In the street preaching that you're going to hell and what not. Nobody has the right to tell me I'm going to hell. By christianity's logic, only God can decide.
User avatar #90 to #40 - ghostisaho (07/01/2013) [-]
that is true, and therefore i do not tell someone they are going to hell.
#92 to #90 - chudboy (07/01/2013) [-]
Then you're a good guy in my book.
User avatar #94 to #92 - ghostisaho (07/01/2013) [-]
the closest i have ever gotten to telling someone they will be going to hell is when i told one of my friends "i'll be seeing you in hell mother ****** "
#95 to #94 - chudboy (07/01/2013) [-]
haha I'm guessing you weren't serious though?
User avatar #96 to #95 - ghostisaho (07/01/2013) [-]
oh yes i was. i may be christian, but there are times when i have to be an evil mother ****** . with god as my witness, i will take you to hell myself if i have to.
#107 to #96 - chudboy (07/01/2013) [-]
That's pretty frightening .....
