I wonder if cunts like this who exploit a natural tragedy ever stop to wonder if they just give the reasonable atheists a bad name. r/atheism by and large is a cess pit of hypocritical ignorance.

What is this trying to imply? I'm sure engineers designed those buildings, they just couldn't stand up to the tornado because IT'S A GODDAMN TORNADO. Nothing to do with religion.

Dude! They're living in goddamn wooden houses in a place right in the middle of TORNADO ALLEY!

Wood might be cheaper and faster to build, but what the ****?!

I saw a lot of brick houses in ruins too. There's nothing, nothing that can stand up to a tornado unless it's underground.

Ofcource they have brick buildings (like schools and stuff). But it's way more safe, your roof might not be but, what the **** America.

But dude, you gotta admit, wooden houses in a place known for Tornado activity, come on now?

Natural disasters are often considered to be affiliated with a supernatural plan or force. They're more hesitant to try to manipulate natural order due to this, kind of like the situation "Creating life is playing god and that's not our job"
On the other hand, the nonreligious in a world that knows the universe doesn't give a damn, manipulating weather doesn't sound too bad, and will be quicker to take control and deter natural disasters, from tornadoes to collisions of galaxies.

But, aside from could-seeding, which is spotty at best, we don't have the technology to manipulate the weather.

I have only one thing to say:

"If there really is a God, he will have to beg my forgiveness" -Jewish Prisoner in Auschwitz

Those words were carved into a wall (In Hebrew, I think) in Auschwitz Concentration Camp. He wasn't made a Jew because he went to Auschwitz. He went there because he was a Jew.

I agree that those are some powerful words, but I have been thus far unable to find a source.. I've only found blogs saying the same thing.

Do you know of a source?

Uh....

Okay, thumb me down, but Christians do not believe that god causes tornadoes and hurricanes.

We understand how weather works. Well, kinda. It depends on what the weather channel reports, unless is close to where you live, in which case you do the normal thing and go in the internet before lights go kaput and see what are some good tips for not dying.

That, and pray.

why not be an engineer and a christian. You just have to adapt your faith to work with what science proves. I for example belief God uses science to get what he wants done.
