Lets get one thing straight, people aren't followers of atheism.

It is a faith like any other. A system of morality defined by those who follow it. Only difference is a lack of a big man upstairs (or big men/women upstairs if you're a polytheist).

Atheism isn't faith its a lack of faith, atheism doesn't have a system of morality, being atheist means nothing more than you do not believe in a God.

That's not what this post is saying. It's saying "the bible is OK with slavery but condemns homosexuality". That's it.

Do you know how many fucking times I've heard people say that people are atheists just so that they can get away with doing "evil" shit? How many times I've heard people say that there would be no morals without God? That their religion is the only source for morals?

It's infuriating. The image isn't saying that atheism equates to morality. It's saying that, according to the Bible, God supports some fucked up shit. How it relates to what I said, well, clearly, religion isn't the only part that is stopping people from doing the fucked up shit because the religion supports some of that fucked up shit. That their religion isn't the only source for morals. That, clearly, we would have some morals without "God".

also atheists have no set of morals so how are we bad? by that logic you are bad because Hitler was religious

it's like what Malcolm X said I am for the truth who ever tells it and anyway just because some atheists have done some bad things doesn't mean slavery is ok or any of the other disgusting things in the bible.
