...Sooo when you say "Christian" you mean "I'm scared I'm going to go to hell, so I label myself as a christian even though I go against it."

There's nothing against those ideas in Christianity. For instance.
Evolution- God created the Garden of Eden. Literally, Heaven on Earth. The Bible says this place housed Adam and Eve, the first (not the only) humans. With them were all the species of the animal kingdom. There is nothing about how long they were in there. I believe that while they were in the garden, the world outside was adapting to what it would be when they were kicked out. The evolutionary chains, climate changes, appearance of other humans, etc.
Being born
gay
- There is nothing saying that having homosexual preferences is a sin. Only acting upon them. Is it fair? No. But the way I see it is homosexuality is, for lack of a better term, a mental problem. All animals, humans included are born to do one thing: Carry on their species. This means all animals are hardwired to seek the opposite sex. Homosexuality would then be a mental illness, much like bi-polar disorder.
And global warming- ...well as I said. Not much to debate here. Its a fact that its getting hotter. That would be what the name implies.

the reason homophobia only exists in humans is because humans are the only species with the mental capacity for imagination, which is where most phobias come from. i agree homosexuality is natural, just not normal.

Same with my girlfriend. She's mostly into girls, but for some reason neither of us can explain, she chose me. But I said its not normal to be into the same sex. Its natural, but that doesn't mean normal. Because its normal for humans to go to a movie on Friday night. Its not natural. That being said, unnatural doesn't mean bad. Just not natural.

Ok I'll give you the imagination argument and what I meant about the movies being natural is the actual even of a movie. The want to pass the time due to boredom or wanting to unwind is a natural concept. But I think we're getting off base for the conversation.
The original topic was "Why is homophobia only counted in humans" My answer to that is because many years ago, I want to say in the 70's, some people tried to cause fear of
gay
s by saying all kinds of things. Mostly claiming that AIDS was only contracted from contact with a
gay
person. People who were
gay
were feared and hated for the lies these groups told. People with AIDS were treated with the same distrust. People began to see AIDS as God's punishment for the
gay
s. That's why homophobia exists.

That sounds about right. I don't support homophobia or understand those who do. I could care less if someone likes guys or girls, I was merely stating why having homosexual preferences was not against Christian ideals.

Actually no, you don't need to believe in creationism or hate
gay
s to be a christian.
It's said in the bible that time in heaven moves faster than time here on earth, so technically the 6days that god used to create life could have meant hundreds of thousands of years here on earth, which would mean life evolved.
Homosexuality is only a sin in The Old Testament, never even mentioned in the New Testament. Most Christians don't believe that eating shellfish, wearing mixed fabric is a sin, so they abide by the New Testament, they only bring up the Old one to hate on homosexuality.
