Well, we all know that. Because these things don't ever really 'have' to be 100% historically correct, a twist could be made. Perhaps he was poisoned by the assassin. be creative.

Poisoned by the assassin would be a nice twist, very probable. Maybe Hitler was forced to kill himself. The Assassin was going to reveal a dark secret about Hitler that he didn't want his troops to know. I apologize for the earlier negativity and skepticism.

Hitler created a clone with PE4, killed it to give the illusion of suicide and then scadaddled off but another Assassin came and killed the real Hitler, from what I remember from ACII The Truth Files. Anyone care to correct me?
