I was really disappointed in this game. The first 3 main AC titles were fantastic and even Revelations was decent at what it set out to do. AC 3 however, not so much. Honestly I get the feeling that the whole development got rushed in order to make the one year deadline so they could cash in on Christmas shopping.

I was looking forward to this one. I was hoping it would be like the assassin taking the side of the british, where as colonial army being the templars army since all the commanders were freemasons historically. That the templars are there because they were driven from europe by the assassins. the story is then different from the AC as the assassin isn't successful in there endeavour and fails , he manages to hide the amulet, but loses the war, hence given the first breath to abstergo in the future. It would have fit better historically than a mohawk fighting for the colonials(historically speaking) . Also it would not fit with the native american almost single handledly winning the war then the americans orchestrating the trail of tears.
Instead you got a video game version of 'the patriot'. It wasnt so much it being a media that bash the english and hero american, I'm british I 'm used to that, but I love history and with a native american character I was hoping for a fresh perspective. I also expected more research from native american and british point of view then was done. Connor also fell flat neither he felt isolated from his tribe and didn't really feel like he was out for their protection

Too bad his stove never picked up, the design was too complicated and even after he reworked the whole design after launch it was still too complicated to work.

I'm starting to think I'm the only one who really liked this game...

I don't understand why they felt the need to thank everyone in the known universe... twice in their credits.
Possibly the longest credits I have ever experienced.

Wasn't bad, but looking back I should have just rented it rather than bought it.

I heard a lot of people liked this game but I actually thought it was terrible. The game play felt kinda rushed like it was "rush through the story" vs really taking the time to play it. Plus I like the feel of the Renaissance much more which is why i was quite sad after Revelations since Ezio was done. I want one more good AC

-homedog-This game over all justade me a sad panda. The story was okay but it could have been a lot better but that's not even what bothers me its the entire game system. First of all they removed a point to viewpoints and the face that you get such a small area just makes me mad the point of the viewpoint was to get the entire map.... I do enjoy that they seem to have limited the amount of collectables which is nice not having to go find 100 of something for 100%...also the fact that there is no armor upgrades is redicilous the point of them was to make you feel like you where getting stronger/ leveling up. Assassin

recruits I think where done well only having to max out 6 people over 60+ from revelations is a big plus . Naval warfare was fun yet still frustrating at times if you wanted 100%
