I just recently started one piece i didnt think much of it for awhile mostly because the first time i saw one piece it was the 4kids dub that made me hate it but i gave it another chance and watched the japanese sub and holy shit was i impressed the action/story is amazing i love luffy especially

im on the sky island arc right now and luffy is fighting enel

still got 300+ episodes to go through

Not much has happened so far in the anime, and to me it felt as though the fishmen were completely out classed. I haven't really enjoyed that much of it after the timeskip.

Both of you are missing the point. The Fishmen had to be outclassed, otherwise the 2 years of training will have looked pointless. After several chapters of being stomped on, we had to be incredibly amazed at the Straw Hat's power again. I consider it a second East Blue.

It was because they caught up with the manga. Thats why the arc right now is filler, to give the manga time to get the next arc finished.
I agree it was WAY too drawn out. But I know and accept their reasons. I just let them go on and keep being awesome, filler or otherwise.
