Right here...Ending of tengen toppa gurren lagann where a kid who saves the world ends up losing the one woman who he saves and after 7 years, he finally gets the chance to propose to her. She then gets ripped away from him and he can only defeat the person who in fact created her, knowing that she will disappear. They get back to earth and she disappears right after the kiss that binds them. He then leaves his position as world savior and leader and vanishes from the world.
