His fight against Luffy is probably his best fight(and my favorite fight in the whole series).

It's also cool when, as Sogeking, he snipes soldiers holding Robin from a tower, in strong wind, from so far away that the soldiers cannot shoot at him, because the bullets from their guns wouldn't be able to reach him. That was kinda awesome.

Eh...that's debatable.
He can kick more ass, and does so way more often than before, but he still has his cowardly moments - I kinda hoped those would be gone completely after he became Mansopp.

That is hes character if they took that away he would be boring and the other characters would have trouble playing of him. He is also necessary to add weight and excitement to situations. I sincerely hope the never change him.

Well, he can still be silly and funny without being a coward, there are many situations in which he was funny that did not involve him getting a can'tgoonthisisland disase or running away.
Character developement exists. His dream is to not be a coward, and to be a brave man of the sea after all, and it's only natural that he will acomplish this at some point in the future.

Yeah but he has been developed into not being a true coward anymore, remember he's first fight on Nami's island against Chew he was still confronting his fears and genuinely had trouble building up the courage to fight. Now in real fights he is not afraid of anything. Being a coward is just part of his quirkiness and one of the reasons I like the show.

Need some for of comedy can't just have Zoro getting lost and Sanji striking out with women.

That cause One Piece is building up and Naruto is in a flashback. Fairy Tail just ended the tournament. I have no idea how the animes are going.

Its strange because I personally and other people i have spoken to cant really say the would feel the same about natsu (which you would assume you would be affected by the most) as they/I would say naruto or ichigo yet i find myself more affected when something happens in fairy tale when something would happen to any of the people. They are much better at telling a group story than those 2 one piece does it kinda well but not as well as fairy tale. They are also much better at their filler arc's like the last arc you didn't even feel as if it was a filler. The only reason why its not as big as the other three is the manga isnt as good. But its anime is top notch.
