basically in manga/anime you get people who will set up "scanlation" groups and they
will purchase manga/anime and translate it themselves making it free for the public
to view. So this is basically the varying levels of translation, from complete, to Weaboo
standards (just enough overused Japanese phrases to make a person feel like they're
actually multilingual when they're not), or really exaggerated translations.
