bleach time

Im getting tired of bleach manga because of the power struggle with each update. Basically character x is stronger than character y to the point that hes defeated but than next issue character y somehow gets stronger than character x. Than it all repeats with the hero being triumph or somebody coming to help them.

I'll admit that its pretty obvious to predict how fights turn out in Bleach, but I still like the anime nonetheless

I still don't believe Ichigo is supposed to be 15.

I watched around 250 episodes of Bleach and just stopped. The show got waaaaaay too drawn out.

I have the exact same problem with Naruto. I actually hate the series now and welcome its' end with open arms. The plot got convoluted and fucking retarded in the last 200 chapters or so and has only gotten worse over time. Every ten chapters or so there's a new hike in fucking difficulty.

At least Kubo's not been afraid of killing a lot of people off for this final arc. Don't really care about how the power struggles portrayed I just like the show for what it is.

Bleach needs to fuck off and go back to Aizen breaking out and finally reaching the gates of Heaven, like he intended from the beginning.
Like, what the fuck.

I'm not to sure what is happening in the manga right now, but that is what needs to happen.
Oh and Kenpachi getting bankai.
Kenpachi is the best.
No others.

One Piece > Bleach for just this reason, and I'll explain why.

In One Piece, you meet Dracule Mihawk early on in the story, just as you're getting to know the premise of strength in the One Piece world. Mihawk then fucks up one of the main characters without even trying (chapter 51). And this is in the first saga, giving the reader the idea that the level of strength is WAY beyond anything we've seen so far, and all we're seeing are big fish in a small pond.

And even over 500 chapters later (561), one of the main characters meets Mihawk again, and STILL gets his ass kicked (or would have done if he didn't get rescued by an ally). One Piece gives you an idea of just how big the power gap is between different characters early on, paving the way for build-up.

Bleach, however, does no such thing. Aizen, who was the biggest threat the Soul Society had ever faced, was defeated by Ichigo, who sacrificed his powers as a Soul Reaper to power his ultimate attack. THAT is where the series should have ended. But instead, Ichigo gets his powers back and finds himself struggling to beat a guy who is clearly weaker than Aizen ever was. So the Captains get involved again, and then Ichigo powers up again and wins.

If Ichigo was that strong previously, then why is he suddenly weaker again? His strength wasn't due to his powers, he honed and trained his skills for ages to face Aizen evenly. No way you'd just forget that kind of training.

This is why I stopped caring about Bleach. It's just a series of new overpowered things that come out of fucking nowhere, with no real point or end goal.

Sooo... Like every other Shounen?
Don't get me wrong, I love shounen (usually), but these mangas are called "money pits" for a reason. They exist purely to be long, drawn out, and have the same plots over and over again. It's how they gain revenue. Look at almost any shounen series. Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, YuYuHakusho, Shaman King. They all run on the same premise:
characters meets bad guy, bad guy stronger, character is horribly wounded until they learn/remember an ultimate power, defeat bad guy, move on to next one.

Villian of the month:"Hahaha you will need some kind of new power to defeat me Ichigo!"
Ichigo: "Funny you should say that..."
