I've seen a lot of animes in my time but Clannad is to date the only anime that made me literally sob, and then sit down to consider my life up to that point.
Might just be cause i'm a little bitch, but even just hearing that music makes my eyes water a bit

Although not the most realistic anime i've ever seen, it attacks some very real issues, especially in my life, which made me really sad, but at the same time it was really uplifting and motivating at certain times. It was really interesting to see how all 5 of them cope with loss, especially so early in their lives. Overall really sad, but still ends on a more positive note than Clannad

I get this question more than anything else. The Manga is split into 8 Parts, all following different members of the Joestar family. The first part is called Phantom Blood, but honestly the Manga is a little outdated. Check out the anime here: www.crunchyroll.com/jojos-bizarre-adventure Just make sure you have adblock, crunchyroll is HD, but ads are stupid. Around episode 9 i believe we transfer into Part 2: Battle Tendency. Both these parts Animated are fantastic.

Part 3: Stardust Crusaders is the one most recently animated. You can either read the Manga, or watch the anime. Both are really good. If you're still enjoying it, the manga goes on for ages, so you always have more to look forward too

Obviously since my account is based around Jojo, i wanna tell you yes. Giving you a fair answer however, Jojo is a stylistic Anime/Manga and is pretty different from the rest. While it is a Shonen, it's usually regarded as a "Manime" (Y'know, manly anime) but in earlier editions has become more, i would dare to say, Girlier. The currently animated parts are all very recent and high quality, and the second part, Battle Tendency, is some of the best Shonen action anime you could watch. Part 3 makes things stranger with stands, but it's still a blast with such badass moments and fights. That being said, its a pretty rinse and repeat formula of; Talking a bunch, witty one liner, unique fight/stand powers. If you dig that sort of stuff, which apparently a lot of people do, then its a blast to watch. Of course, nothing is perfect, and not everyone is going to like it. For some reason Clannad just didn't hit me that hard, not sure why. Maybe I was just a lot less emotional when I watched it.
That and Shigatsu just hits really close to home.
