Well, In This Chapter, Two Scientists Brothers Made A Formula Which Made One Of Them A Giant, And The Hero (In The Last Panel) Goes Onto The Left Shoulder, And On The Right Shoulder, The Giants Brother Was Riding Him. Could be it's a Homestuck reference, a character in that does it as their quirk. It also kind of makes all the words make a little more pronunciated which is what they were trying to accomplish in that webcomic series.
