I've always hated that. WHY? Why do anime characters make that sound? They make it when they see something, they make it when they're thinking of something, they make it when they're not thinking about anything, they make it when they're hungry, they make it when they're bored, they make it when they're embarrassed, they make it when they're pissed, they make it when they're happy. THEY MAKE IT EVERY TIME ANYTHING HAPPENS. Why? No one makes that sound IRL. What is that sound supposed to mean?
i hear people make that sound in real life all the time. normally out of actual shock and not random mundane things though. i think the amount they do it in anime is more than is seen in real life but not to the point where it is confusing the amount its used.
>implying Japanese voice acting isn't the best in the world
Anyways they do the same thing in live action. My guess is that it's just a quick way to show how someone is feeling. Those clips were only a fraction of a second right? But you could tell what emotion each little sound meant. Probably just another Japanese quirk. They tend to make small sounds a lot. Like old Japanese guys and their "ohhhhs"
I dunno man, I loose my train of thought a lot, and I tend to make a sort of "ah" sound when I remember it. 'Course I talk to myself all the time too, so maybe I'm just crazy.
Because just animating the facial expressions makes watching animations a little awkward.
Notice pretty much every cartoon from the west does the same thing, not as exaggerated, but still, *grunts, "ouahs" and all of the above to coincide with body movements and faces.
Iroha is too tsundere and will loose eventually, but Yukinon and Yui are toe to toe and i dont think Hachiman is the harem type or if the the girls are...
Iroha isn't my favorite at all, but she's technically in the running. I definitely had trouble picking between Yukinon and Yui though. They're both great characters.
Yeah it is one of the few anime with good balanced characters,no exaggerated moe stuff, and hachiman is just...great,i loved his character from the start...still...i would go with Yukinon i think, that cold attitude and resolve...still Yui is playfull and easy going, more girly and tends to resolve situations by being herself,Iroha is cute but kinda annoying sometimes
i don't have a clue what this anime **** is but on the topic of mad max those halflife dudes are ******* crazy. They're like suicide bombers with some ****** up Norse religion **** going on
I just watched this today.
And personally I think it didn't live up to all the hype about it.
I mean, it was a great chase-action movie with some amazing action, but that was about it. The characters didn't really grab me that much, as they rarely spoke and the plot itself was kind of meh.
A good film? Hell yeah.
Best of the year? Not in my opinion.
I mostly agree with you, however you should know that it was never intended for the movie to have much character development, nor a detailed plot line. The whole idea is to give the viewer a memorable car chase, lots of explosions, a dirty world and ******* crazy people everywhere.
yeah I figured that out, but even at that area it is not the best.
I have seen better car-chase movies, better action movies and seen more entertaining psychotic characters in other medias.
At least in my opinion.
Nah, you aren't the only one.
I still like the movie, but I don't see it as a masterpiece, as many claims it to be, or even the best action-movie of 2015.
If we go by car-chase movies, my personal favorite would be 'Duel' which had me at the edge of my seat through the entire chase with a lot of thrill and suspense.
Wait a sec
You're on the internet
And you're expecting it to do what you want?
Like, one of the basics of this place is that if you tell people not to do something, they'll do it even if they didn't want to just to show they can. Remember all those photoshops of that picture of Obama?
