Well when you have seen the original movies and know the awesome Song they used for it instead of the cliche they are now using for the Tv version... =\
Original song : www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpHBjFuTuuY for those interested.

aldera

I passed this up for that Mahouka anime. I dont know the full name, but magic and ****.

Also, M3 looked pretty close, but more sci-fyie... I guess. Supernatural might be the word. **** if I know.

Is Break Blade good, is what I'm asking.

I think Break Blade is great. The story is pretty generic as stated below, but it shows a different part of war than most by giving two or three different sides and thoughts to a conflict, all of which are plausible ways of thinking. I haven't watched M3, so I cant give anything. But I say try Break Blade. It has a 6 episode Ova series from '06 (I think) and it starts similarly, but by the end is different. Though it does give insight to if you want to watch it in a regular seasonal format with more story.

I played Spec Ops and it is a great comparison, but less profound than Spec Ops because there is a set good vs. bad. Its a little hard to explain, so i suggest either watch the T.V. series or read the manga.

It's still comming out at least the TV verison is the original Break Blade episodes were 40~45 min long because they were OVA's (i believe). The new Break Blade is an actually season with regular episodes so it'll be weekly.

The TV series is just the 6 movies re-edited with some more of the fights anime.

The Movies didn't follow the Manga that well but some of the changes I think where better then the Manga. Like Girge death was better in the Anime.

I watched all 6 Break Blade movies around November or so. Can anyone tell me the differences between the anime adaption and the movies other than the length?

Nothing so far. Hopefully they'll keep making further episodes where the 6th movie ended, other than that no difference.

I figured as much, although that's not what I was hoping for. I really hope to see some plot progression beyond the sixth movie.

I don't think they actually introduced Rygart's brother in the movies they just used him as a reason why Rygart recaptured a village in one of last movies. but it has been some time so don't believe me 100000%

I remember Rygart having at least one flashback explaining how it was just him and his brother and the opening scene in the movies has slightly more dialogue from his younger brother.

I believe it was movie 5 that he recaptured his village.
