So you mean the MC is trash, not that Evangelion is trash. Don't think you can judge the whole show without watching the whole show. It's probably still trash
I think that if the character that is supposed to drive the story is trash that makes the whole thing trash. The thing that can redeem such a situation is if the side cast is stellar but thats rarely the case.
Honestly the whole point of Shinji is that teenagers don't make good heroes because they're just little ***** , and any kid forced to risk his life in a robot out of nowhere's not gonna be too happy with it. He's not trash, I just think you'd prefer the more common big damn high school hero character from other mecha anime instead of the deconstruction.
No, a kid with no training or any real motivation really doesn't have to do anything but panic when faced with city destroying monsters if you're honestly considering it.
everyone on earth turns into a liquid form and joins their minds at the behest of the main character Shinji, then Shinji reverts this decision because he'd rather be an individual and suffer the pain of not being able to perfectly understand others. He and one girl he knows come out of the liquid and he attempts to murder her, only stopping to break down in tears as she touches his face. then she says "disgusting" and it fades to black
That won't help.
Just remember, it was made by a horribly depressed guy who hated Shōnen manga so much that he set out to ruin the experience of anyone who read his work. It's designed to be sad and not make a huge amount of sense.
Basically the end of the world, the apocalypse. In Evangelion The First Impact was the meteor that killed the dinosaurs and created the moon. Except it was Lilith, the First Angel's arrival on Earth
The Second Impact was a meteor that crashed on earth on 2000, that melted the poles and rose the water level of the oceans, killing millions and destroying a **** ton of cities. But in reality it was Adam, the Secon Angel, exploding due to some failed experiment/someone trying to intentionally start the series of events that would lead into the Apocalypse
That being said, the Third Impact is what the humanity fears will happen if the Angels manage to find Adam When in fact it's the humanity that's trying to force the Third Impact, for many reasons. The higher ups are on it basically because they want to reach paradise, the main dude's father wants to get the angel's power in order to control the apocalypse just enough so he can see his dead wife, no idea what he wanna do after that.
Oh, and what actually happened: No idea The pieces fell into place and it was up to the main dude, Shinji, to decide what he was going to do with, well, everything. He got all the power from the Angels and whatnot, and in another emo breakdown he decided he wanted the world to end. Everything was going nice and dandy(as nice as the Apocalypse can be), people were melting, their souls were uniting, then, Shinji's bitchyness attacked again, and he changed his mind, interrupting the Apocalypse he started himself and theoretically giving people the option to go back to life or not, but that's up to interpretation.
Aw, all the impacts are pretty ****** up and never well explained, not to mention the First Ancestral Race but it was always the psychological drama that made me love the series. and the kickass battles They took a familiar setting, in this case teenagers piloting robots to fight some kind of alien invasion, except they made every character very psychologically damaged, leading into some really great existential crisis moments. All in all, NGE feels like a great series for anyone with an interest for psychology.
Sorta. It was a clone and it acted differently from his mother because puberty hormones and **** . Technically, the Eva is his real mother and not Rei because the person is where the personality is and the Eva has her soul.
It's honestly not that complicated. People like to make a big deal about it, but there are dozens of videos that explain the plot in less than 15 minutes.
First and second movie = sure
Third movie (third impact) = same **** as anime
(MC lost all of his character development and return to his ****** anime persona......)
***** are you saying the anime is bad and that the movies are better because i'm gonna have to ask you to calm down like seriously fam this is some disrespect on a whole other level
