They're trying too hard to buff Goku for no reason.

Needlessly increasing a character's power is never a good thing.

I'd wait until the dub. No freaking way am I listening to Goku being voiced by an (admittedly talented) old lady.

Personally I've liked it, but then again, I've only just started the fight with Beerus. The first 10 or so episodes are just the Battle of Gods movie.

Gohan is still a nerfed bitch, trunks and goten are still next to useless, vegeta is the bad guy's warm up before fighting goku and goku is still the show stealer.

So much like The force awakens, more of the same but telling you how things have wound up in the new canon.

The vegeta thing is pretty normal, but how is gohan nerfed? he seemed just as strong as goku at the end of dragonball z

He can't even go SS2 anymore, and has somehow lost more of his strength in 6-7 months than he did in the 7 years between Cell and Buu.

It wasn't 6-7 months, it was 4 years after Buu. Another 6 months between Bills and Freeza.

Huh, so it is 4 years, still doesn't make sense that Gohan has lost that much strength considering he was nearly the most powerful single entity at the end of the Buu Saga. And his name is Beerus, not Bills.

I haven't watched it myself but from what I've heard the story is ok and the animation is incredibly poor which has put off a lot of people.
