You have been visited by the cyclist of justice! good fortune and prosperity will come to you at impeccable speeds but only if you thumb and post "gambatte mumen rider" in the comment section
they did the same thing with One Piece when Corazon and Law we're looking for doctors http://manga.life/read-online/OnePiece/chapter-764/index-1 and when they we're fighting the nobles before the great war. YOu might have no idea what the manga is about, but here's the pic. It;s quite common to portray bad or negative characters like this.
Saitamas punch was so hard that it changed the weather! And then this guy comes and ********* ... Really hope we see this guy die in one of the episodes.
People may hate him for belittling the heroes and the hero association but ... he's right.
Currently they solve only smaller problems and mostly delay the bigger ones.
They truth of OPM's world is that the humans are vastly outpowered by monsters, this becomes even more so apperent in what I speculate will be shown in the next two episodes.
It's not that they're not trying, they're just not good enough. They are weak compared to the monstrosities Saitama wipes occasionally.
What's even more baffling is how he has actually remained unkown despite most definetly saving the entire humananity for at least several times. I am unsure of how serious or casual the story is further on, but I can only speculate that it would be only possible if there was someone, most probably with at least huge influence in the hero association, covering it up. Because the hero association spends a lot of personel on research and reports, yet still don't know who defeated all those super powerful monsters? Unreasonable.
The reason why Saitama is unknown: One of the S-rank heroes is respected by the public and has incidentally had Saitama's feats and accomplishments credited to him. He just happened to be where Saitama was whenever he did anything. The S-rank hero turns out to be a regular human weeaboo and has no strength whatsoever.
best part is Saitama's gives no ***** about it as king admited to him that he took credit for it by mistake of them just going "well here he obviously did it hes standing right at the corpse" the thing is though kings got the poker face of god so hes intimidated enough creatures/ people that its rather respectable of what hes stopped on his own enough to at least be a low b class hero without saitamas achievements (imo)
Actually, the hero association was doing just fine untill Sea king himslef, A VERY powerful monster, showed up. That guy with his spear-weapon even killed a good bunch of monsters before Sea King oneshotted him. Also, Genos could have possibly (we don't know for sure) beaten Sea King if he hadn't been forced to TANK ACID SAVING A LITTLE GIRL. And even if the other heroes are "useless", which they aren't, they still stalled Sea King until Saitama showed up, saving everyone in the shelter including that ungrateful ass. Now, he did raise some solid points about tax money and such, but the only reason there were no casualties is because of the group effort of the heroes, so IN THAT MOMENT he really had no right to complain, and especially not be such an ungrateful ass.
See tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ComplainingAboutRescuesTheyDontLike
for my opinion on this guy.
I mean just imagine if Carnage Kabuto wasn't killed by Saitama. He would've been ably to beat the top ranked S-Classes. But as you said I don't think the hero association has faced a truly devastating monster the likes which Saitama annihilates on a daily basis like vaccine man
there are quite a few s class heros that are actually powerful none as powerful as one slap chap but capable of handling most monsters though most of the top heros are disapointing ill admit that from what we've seen in the manga i'd put metal bat, tornado, bang, genos, and metal night in the catagory of deserving their rank. Thugh there is a few others that we can't count out yet
Would like to point out that in one-punch-man or in one-punch-man (one) we haven't seen blast (I think that's his name) or seen what he can do so I would say likely 3 or so of the S classes would have gotten beat by Carnage.
I'm not entirely sure, but I think Blizzard would have had a decent chance In the Boros arc she proves to be quite OP in her own right . Also, while it's true there is a league of monsters only Saitama would be able to beat, that point is kinda moot now that he is an effective member of the hero association. And while they can't defeat every monster without him, things would be a LOT worse if they weren't there.
*He's wrong*
There I fixed it for you. His whole thing was heroes are completely useless and the general population could've done what they did.
Most c and b class heroes help out with small things. B+ to A class heroes fight most mid level monsters. S class fight mid to mid-high tier monsters.
And Saitama class solves all problems
The taxes aren't paying for a guarantee of total protection, they're paying for whatever the association can cover when possible.
Also all heroes usually travel by themselves doing small tasks, so it's usually a 1 on a 1 fight against a stronger opponent. If 2 or 3 S classes fought against the Sea King he could have potentially lost before Saitama got there. The psychic girl could have destroyed the meteor. The problem is It's the controversial 1 at a time strategy and usually the right person is not there.
Not quite right, the civilians look seriously shocked that their stronger heroes were being defeated meaning monsters defeating heroes can't be a common thing so the monsters must be normally weaker. The association also decided to send two A class heroes to check out a legend about a monster so scary and powerful that it forced humans and monsters both to flee the area, A class heroes must be able to deal with most monsters without hassle regularly for them to think A class heroes are capable of dealing with something that does that.
I see your point there but you have to remember that hero don't always win in those situations. Look at all our heros in DC, and marvel, I still believe he right but in the wrong way. Sure "anyone could do stall for time" but the fact remains that the ones ho actually stepped up to bat where the heros.
I just liked the fact that everyone assumed that Saitamas a fraud despite a punch causing a ******* EXPLOSION OF A HOLE in the sea kings stomach. What all the fighting gave him pent up gases and Saitama ignited the fuse?
If it's on a fan service conversation/post like this one it's a safe bet to assume it's an actual spoiler, It's been my experience that a little more than half the spoilers on these are actual spoilers, especially the ones discussing the plot of a series.
I hope not, Since he says that was a "semi-serious" punch And to top it of even his opponent says he can tell that he wasn't nearly fighting at his all
Its intentional, just look at King the strongest human in the world, he is actually weak and just happened to be there when saitama killed some other monsters
Go read Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari if you want to see a really hateable character. (the manga is pretty decent, so you can go with that, but the novel is great and I recommend it)
Yeah, it gets absolutely ******* terrible after the spirit turtle arc, in the web novel at least. Haven't read the Light Novel version, but I know the plot got changed a ******** , so it's hopefully better.
I've read it
Still can't believe they finally got off the ******* boat
Honestly I don't really hate any characters in there because I understand their choices, even if they're massive pieces of **** for making those choices
idk man when i see griffith's stupid ******* face i just feel like it never has, and probably never will be, beaten quite hard enough. although Rickert slapping him made me really ******* happy. i love him more now
He got tortured for perhaps over a year
He sacrificed many things to achieve his dreams and despite that lost practically everything. Apostles in Berserk have betrayed comrades for less than he has
Also I can't truly judge Griffith until Falconia's nature becomes clear
i think the thing that pisses me off the most about him is that he hides under a guise of caring about others and protecting the people when he's 100% only doing things for himself
The first character I can think of that I truly hate in Berserk would be Wyald. He has no redeeming qualities whatsoever, just a piece of **** who wasted his life and ends up destroying that of others completely
I get a feeling that the way Saitama keeps on being treated by everyone except Genos is just a way for the viewers to get more attatched to him and to keep watching. I must congratulate them if so
mumen rider is one of my favorite characters on OPM by far.
He straight up says he knows damn well he's got no shot at beating the sea king but thats not what being a hero is about, surrounded by dead heroes who are way stronger than him, he still tries to fight.
Then he miraculously survives and is the only "thank you" saitama receives, ever, and buys him a drink. what a g.
I'm surprised he can peddle so fast with the weight of his gigantic balls.
