-he gave his son to a horrifying green alien who cut off a part of his spine
-he put him up against 2 alien guys who could have pulverized the entire planet
-he then sent out his son along with the worlds most annoying woman, and the weakest guy in the show to a planet that they know pretty much nothing about, half expecting that there would be vegeta and/or someone worse
-made his son go into that horrifying hyperbolic time chamber
-made his son fight a monster that mercilessly killed millions, that can reform practically instantly, and can make baby versions of itself fight for him
-made his other son fuse with someone (i dont know how that feels, nor do i care to find out
-made his other son fight monster that reforms almost immediately reform (buu saga, i really dont care about the rest of what happens there)
-made his son fight in a scam tournament so that hercule can get famous, a pink monster would get bitches and food (the only character who had a perfect ending), and everybody else would get rich except for the normal people whos dreams are crushed.
-neglects family for really long time to train little indian boy
so yeah thats dbz for ya in a pessimistic view
