I think it's a good show. But it's not perfect.

Well of course its not perfect but it isnt about being perfect its about the goal of the show. The goal was to make a funny show that has very little plot or character development and have an invincible character that kills everything in one hit. They did pretty damn perfectly if you ask me.
I seriously like this anime a lot more than any other because it really does show what I've always wanted to see. A protagonist that only wants to fight and be stronger who is also funny. It also deals with boredom and depression from being the best at something, and in an indirect way shows that struggle is necessary in life and without it life can be pretty devoid of meaning.
Overall I think its a cleverly written show that sticks to its point. However, like you said it ain't perfect, i really hate the majority of the side characters and only watch it for Saitama and Mumen Rider. And the 4 episode buildup I could honestly do without, however perhaps thats just more satire. I give it A+5/Good

kinchou (12/14/2015) [-] Honestly I just think the whole concept is hilarious. Never bothered to notice the details. Of course, the fact that it came from some random dude's piss ass drawings doesn't mean a thing, it's come a long way and now it's animated by one of the best studios! So yeah... you're probably right. But OPM's fanbase is probably still less horrendous than Undertale's.
