Well I don't read the manga, and have no idea how the plot will be unfolded in the upcoming episodes. The only thing that I did stupid, that I read the comments and spoiled myself the viewing pleasure. If you judge me intellect only by that fact, then yes I am stupid.
For the sake that I wouldn't read any more spoilers, that would ruin my pleasure of watching this amazing anime.
Because unless you are re-watching an amazing show, there is no point of watching something that you know how it's going to unfold.

but seriously this gif focuses on the moment RIGHT AFTER the most intense emotional moment I've seen a character have in an anime besides Elfen Lied.

It's because the most people who watch this aren't focused about the emotional stuff in this one, they want to see the fights.

I actually like emotional anime, but I don't really care about this stuff in Attack On Titan.

Like Hydrocircuit already said, I don't think that's some sort of censoring. I mean, one scene later you see the "good" titan punch another titan his head of the neck, flying right into a clocktower.

It's rather hard to make animes with extreme splatter, like it's shown in the manga.

me and a friend have a theory that when a titan eats someone its taking any power it can from them and the fighting titan is the one who ate eren but his hatred of titans was so powerful he took over the titans mind and body. the titan looks similar to him (especially the eyes) because of the titans regeneration ability. this also explains its fighting ability
