and directors didn't have enough time to correct horrible mistakes, that's why it's so crappy.

But overall the animation of the battle was bad because they had too little time and resources to make it look very smooth. One of the reasons battles in anime's are either small or bad quality is this, they have a set amount of money per episode, so that's how much they can squeeze in it.
Look at any youtube animator, they may work for months on a 2-3 minute piece.

The animation quality in Fate/Stay is a lot nicer, it's showing speed of the hits and the impact, which also shows their skill. If you really can't tell that they're supposed to be skilled, then your blind. and have **** taste
