yup, the second season was badly animated in both quality and story, i'd suggest the manga above the anime (tho do not read :re before you finished the original "Tokyo Ghoul/Toukyou Kushu*") (Tokyo ghoul is called Toukyou Kushu on some manga sites)

the first season sucked as well, you finally think its gonna start getting good when he ***** up jason but then the ******* season ends and they start going off into an awful season two
and apparantly the manga approved and followed its example by going into an awful new one with brainwashed kaneki

:re was created before Root A even came out.

also, i don't mind Brainwashed kaneki as he can get even more powerful with his new moves PLUS we get to see more of CCG's side, which is interesting.

yeah, but :re is really poorly made
the art is messy, the characters are jumbled with tons of stupid extra things like crazy gourmet dudes family being like "but i love master shu"
but then again, first series had stupid **** like that as well, only more involved like with mados family
i mean why the **** are they going "OMG WE ARE MONSTERS!" for killing him when its all in selfdefense against a ******* crazy genocidal monster who murders a mother and uses her kagune against her daughter
and they continuously ******* try to make him into a perfect saint in everyones memories and how they need revenge for his pricky ass
