I don't like harem but Saekano was awesome.
It's not the typical harem from other shows where up to 5 dumbass chicks with no character development chase the MC.

I find it more frustrating when guy doesn't end up choosing anyone, like Nisekoi and at least a hundred more harems / romances. Luckily there are a few that end up with marriage.

There is a harem that ends with marriage. Although it's between a guy and adopted sister or vice-versa? . About 10 other girls, including never aging loli cousin, were left behind most popular girl in school got rejected while other ones never confessed .

Next 2 seasons involve same cousin and grandchildren of main characters from 1st series. There's some more incest brewing. But ending isn't a romance one.
5th season involves grandchildren my assumption, most last names don't match anymore, but one can assume so from the ending from 2nd series it's a 100+ year story; what can I say? . Sadly it took ecchi turn and I didn't quite like it.
