its all visual hyperbole. this anime does a **** TON of visual hyperbole. imagine if instead of family guy telling you what something is like and then showing you a clip of what they were talking about, they instead incorperated the thing its like into what was actually happening as the characters dilusions of the world around them.
i know, im just explaining to him why in the show he will a bunch of random scene changes and art style switch ups. like shinobu turning into blossom
from the power puff girls.
The main guy is a half vampire which means he basically cannot die. Around him, people girls get afflicted by monsters that range from relatively benign to life threatening. He helps them out.
90% of the show is dialogue in abstract places, so if you are looking for action you won't really find it here. I enjoy the show a great deal.
In the later seasons there is an influx of Loli characters. I personally detest that, but just letting you know.
its unfortunate that the best character in the entire series is a loli. but mayoi hachikuji takes that prize hands down, no questions asked. though a somewhat close second is unfortunatly another loli, shinobu, and then third is ogi and i dont know what ogi is. or if ogi is even a chick. though he/she is a slaty ass hoe later on.
She's not a loli, just young when she doesnt feed. excuses i know
But really, I thought Senjougahara was the best by far, with the rest of the main cast being near equal. The ending to the first season won Senjougahara first for me.
denjougahara was actually in last place for me. the only thing she had going for herself was that she was the most upfront about her feelings and was the first to confess. if any other girl had confessed first, they would have won ararararagi.
his younger sister that is in the content up above was a possibility especially with the fact that both sisters are actually in love with him and actually date guys that look and act exactly like him with the special line being that they just are not him , hachikiji was actually what i thought he would end up with for a while since she was actually 22 and older than him but just looked younger also it felt like he had a really good relationship with her before shinobu was fleshed out and hanekawa got a chance to bare her soul.
No but Hachikuji has the mind and body of a child, so I knew he wasn't going for that. Just look at him as a character, he's not that type of person. If he was, he'd have been with Shinobu long ago, considering she's in his shadow at all times.
He's also not the type to **** his sister, come on.
If you look at this purely from what you get from their personalities in the show, you can easily see that Araragi had two choices, Hanekawa, who was too shy to act, and Senjougahara, who was on him like swimwear.
honestly however confessed to him first would have one. it didnt matter who it was. except kanbaru. she is his eternal best friend and eventual mistress so she cant be his actual girlfriend.
I disagree, he is like 18, nadeko was middle school if i remember right, shinobu was some weird almost sibling relationship, hanekawa wanted him but was too shy, hachikuji was literally a ghost, her confessing would do absolutely nothing for either of them because she was destined to be gone anyway.
well he didnt really care too much about age if no one was looking from what i can tell from the show. he was also bordline incest situations with his siblings multiple times and didnt seem bothered by it. the only one i completely agree was never going to happen was nadeko. and he could always easily interact with hachikuji.
He wasn't going to let Hachikuji live, because her being 'alive' meant others died. Frequently.
If you notice with all the 'borderline incest' things, he always assures himself that they are his sisters. They weren't going anywhere. Also if you're including the bath scenes, that's a cultural difference. In japan, it's common for family to bath together. This provides more proof that he thinks of Shinobu as family and not relationship material.
i wasnt including bath scenes. just all the flirting and stuff. and he was going to let hachikuji live. thats what he resolved himself to do before hachikuji forbade him from trying to save her anymore and told him that she is choosing to move on. and he definitly sees shinobu as relationship material or if not something much closer than family at the very least. he on multiple occasions notes that the only person that he can immagine facing the end of existance with was shinobu and no one could take her place and if given the choice he chooses shinobu over everything else in his life. but whatever the special stuff with their relationship is, it stops both of them from actually furthering any sort of romantic relationship, as far as i can tell its partially extreme guilt.
man what are all these "agatari" shows about? sometimes i see daily run-of-the-mill scenes and other times its catgirls with supernatural powers or something.
It is about curiosities affecting people, which are basically things that exist, because people think that they're existing. We're talking vampires, cat demons, ghosts, weird gods and a lot of other stuff. It has a real good story line, which is told in a way that makes your brain all fuzzy. It keeps switching between being serious and funny a lot, but without taking away the tension core. There is some fan service as well, but it is done in a really moderate way or it is getting really weird.
